Welcome to the West Rand Bikers Church!

The West Rand’s biker community has tried for years to establish a spiritual home. The West Rand Bikers Church was created when God gave a clear vision and instruction to Johan van Eck to start this church on the West Rand. A simple beginning in borrowed premises with very diverse ‘membership’ and other willing hands, led by Johan van Eck, has grown beyond expectations into a place where structure has now become a need for the family of faith.

The West Rand Bikers Church was registered in October 2010. We are a church that exists to share the powerful message of God’s love in our biker community. A person does not necessarily have to ride a motorcycle. It is a spiritual home regardless of background or club affiliation. Here people are loved and challenged to grow in God’s grace as we worship the Lord together, and are changed by the unfailing love and grace of Jesus Christ.

Martin Luther, the great reformer, emphasized that the church must be a church that is on the way through the world and that must fight to focus on the expansion of the kingdom. We want to be a family of faith that is not only inwardly focused, but that keeps the needs of the world in view and combats them in all its facets. Many thanks to every person who has made a contribution so far and still does to bind this family together and grow.
